Welcome to my 365 project

Inspired by a group of people, I have decided to create my own 365 blog. In this blog, I shall attempt to post a photo a day which will hopefully give a little insight into what I've been up to. While I hope to be able to share this with all of you, this is also a photographic journal.

Each day is a new dawn, and here's hoping that in 2009, each day will be a new fine dawn.

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY-FIVE

Joshua had a busy day today. In the morning daddy took him to socatots (football for babies).
After lunch we went to an urban farm where he could see and touch lots of farm animals. Becky, Simon and Sophie came along. He seemed to really enjoy it and got to pet a Guinea Pig, a Rat and a bird. He also saw rabbits, sheep, lambs, calfs, piglets, pigs, donkeys, ponies, alpacas, goats, ducks, an ostrich and a few other animals.

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY-FOUR

Taro's parents arrived today for the weekend. They brought Joshua some clothes, books and a very successful bubble machine! Joshua and Sophie loved chasing the bubbles everywhere and would get really upset when I turned it off.

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY-THREE

Joshua and I spent the day cleaning and tidying the house.
After Joshua was in bed I watered my tomato plants. They seem to be growing so nicely, I just can't wait to taste the tomatoes!

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY-TWO

When Joshua and I came back home from swimming, I decided to check out our kitchen for slugs. We seem to have a slug infestation lately and I've spotted a few slugs in the kitchen very late at night, which is totally disgusting!
The first step is to move the tumble drier and washing machine as they are against the outside wall and have pipes. I can't wait until the problem is sorted. ew Taro was home early, so he put Joshua to bed again and also read The Three Little Pigs.

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY-ONE

Another wet day indoors. Joshua was a happy buy but did the usual throwing of food on the floor at dinner time and then half ate/ half played with his yoghurt.
Tonight we read The Three Little Pigs at bedtime. He then lay down on Flaps and went to sleep like a sweet lovely boy.

It's Monday again and Taro was off to work. Even if I'm at home all the time now, I still have that Monday feeling. It's nice when Taro's home, although if he were home all the time, I'd probably change my mind about that, haha.
Joshua and I didn't do much apart from bump into my neighbour Bob at the supermarket where he works. He asked me about a week ago to buy a growbag as he has some tomato plants that he can give me. He's been asking me ever since if I have it yet. I really should go buy it.
Taro was home early today, so he read a story for Joshua instead. He read Goldy Locks.

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY-NINE

I finished reading A Thousand Splendid Suns last night, so will now start reading The Angel's Game. It's by the same author of The Shadow of the Wind, which was really good, so am hoping this will be a good book too. It's just come out (a week ago), so I haven't heard anything about it yet.
As Joshua had refused his milk the last couple of days, I gave it to him after dinner, which he was very happy about. At bedtime we read a story whilst cuddled together.
