DAY THIRTY-THREE

We bought a car today!!! It's my first car ever and I'm quite excited, but also super nervous at the thought that I have to drive it home next week. Eeeeeeek. We are also now officially broke.

DAY THIRTY-TWO

Joshua loves going out for a walk to the park and loves playing on the slides and the swing. He is always very excited and has a cheeky look on his face. For the last week or two, Joshua has also learned how to kiss. He still hasn't kissed me though, but kisses his hand and sends it my way - soooooo cute.

DAY THIRTY-ONE

Joshua's first shoes, which were bought in September are now too small for him. We post-ponned buying him new ones but finally realized that the poor boy needed a new pair. These are his new shoes, complete with lights. I'm not convinced he will actually enjoy the light as much as his Mummy, especially as they only go on when he's walking, so he can't exactly see them, but they were cheaper than the regular shoe.

DAY THIRTY

This is Sophie. She's Joshua's cousin and best friend. They are both always very excited when they see each other or just hear each other's names.
They are only one month apart in age and we all think it's great that they are growing up so close together.

DAY TWENTY-NINE

My brother John arrived from Brazil today. He'll be staying with us until he gets a job and somewhere to live. We were quite surprised that as soon as he arrived he already bought a new SIM for his phone and contacted a few job agencies, so fingers crossed for him he'll have something in no time.

DAY TWENTY-EIGHT

Joshua and I went out for a lovely walk to a nearby park. It's very peaceful around there with a river running through it and lots of dogs splashing around in it.

DAY TWENTY-SEVEN

As Taro's parents were visiting during Valentine's day, taro and I decided to celebrate the following evening instead. We had a romantic evening with a three course meal, champagne and candlelight.
It was perfect!
