Welcome to my 365 project

Inspired by a group of people, I have decided to create my own 365 blog. In this blog, I shall attempt to post a photo a day which will hopefully give a little insight into what I've been up to. While I hope to be able to share this with all of you, this is also a photographic journal.

Each day is a new dawn, and here's hoping that in 2009, each day will be a new fine dawn.

DAY SIXTY-ONE

I had a busy day today.
It started with me baking a cake for Taro's birthday. I then mowed the lawn for the first time since the beginning of Winter last year. We went out for a long afternoon walk, and then after helping to prepare dinner, I decorated the cake - which I think looks great.

DAY SIXTY

Taro's parents arrived today and will be staying here for the weekend.
Sophie came over in the afternoon and played with Joshua for a little while.

DAY FIFTY-NINE

This is the first week since the beginning of Winter that we've had a chance to hang our clothes to dry outdoors.
That is pretty much all I did today. Joshua spent the morning at the playgroup which tired us both out. He was then grumpy all afternoon after a very short nap, and I just felt too exhausted and stressed to do anything, so off to bed early.

DAY FIFTY-EIGHT

Joshua and I spent the afternoon walking and playing along the river in Richmond. It was a beautiful day and there were lots of people out and about.

DAY FIFTY-SEVEN

Today I drove John (my brother) to the Hospital to get his finger checked. He managed to slice through part of it at work just over a week ago and had to have 8 internal stitches and 6 visible ones. So in the morning he decided that he should take the stitches out himself and then went to hospital to get it checked. After getting shouted at by the doctor for taking his own stitches out, she said it looked ok.
After that we went to my sister's house and let the children play outdoors. The weather was still nice, even though the wind was blowing quite a bit.

DAY FIFTY-SIX

The weather was once again quite nice to spend the day outdoors, so I thought I'd see what happens when I combine Joshua and paint. Well, I have a blue baby now :-)
It was good fun even if it only lasted about 10minutes.

DAY FIFTY-FIVE

We had some friends over for lunch today and had a really lovely time. It was surprisingly warm outdoors so we spent most of the afternoon watching the babies run around, and of course, taking lots of photos.
