Welcome to my 365 project

Inspired by a group of people, I have decided to create my own 365 blog. In this blog, I shall attempt to post a photo a day which will hopefully give a little insight into what I've been up to. While I hope to be able to share this with all of you, this is also a photographic journal.

Each day is a new dawn, and here's hoping that in 2009, each day will be a new fine dawn.

DAY EIGHTY-TWO

We had been meaning to visit some friends for a while and finally made it over to their place today. It was always such a hassle to get their by train, so it was great to drive, even if a little scary parking on the steep hill that they live on. It rained all day, but we still all had lots of fun.

DAY EIGHTY-ONE

It's Good Friday today and Taro will be home for 4xdays! As it's a Bank Holiday, and this is England, it rained all day long!
We still had a lovely time and Taro took us out for lunch and a little bit of shopping. I now have a new Singstar game. Can't wait to try it out.

DAY EIGHTY

Joshua generally has toast with jam on at breakfast time, besides his cereal and some fruit. He is always a little messy with toast, but today just seemed to be completely over the top. He managed to get it in his hair, ears, it's back to when he first started on solids. The cheeky monkey!

DAY SEVENTY-NINE

Joshua got this CAT truck for his 1st birthday from aunty Becky and uncle Simon. I don't think a day goes by that he doesn't play with it. He fills it, empties it, climbs in it, drags it around... Good thing it's quite sturdy.

DAY SEVENTY-EIGHT

This morning Joshua found a couple of stones by my car and then spent all morning and some of the afternoon playing with the stones and taking good care of them. It was so cute that he had found this little treasure that was all his.

DAY SEVENTY-SEVEN

The children in the UK have the week off for Easter. As we live on the same road as a school, that is good news as there is no traffic in the morning and when the kids leave.
On the other hand, the playgrounds, swimming pools and every leisure areas are crowded, which makes it unpleasant for a toddler.

DAY SEVENTY-SIX

Every time Joshua goes to bed, whether for a nap or sleep, we put a few of his favourite soft toys around. Flaps, his cuddly dog is his favourite, and ever since he got him from his uncle on his first Christmas, he has not let go of him. It's his comfort thing and even if he's not sleeping, if he's upset, or just needs some comforting, Flaps is the 'man' for the job.
Needless to say, he's disgusting and in serious need of a wash (he's been washed before but not enough)
