Welcome to my 365 project

Inspired by a group of people, I have decided to create my own 365 blog. In this blog, I shall attempt to post a photo a day which will hopefully give a little insight into what I've been up to. While I hope to be able to share this with all of you, this is also a photographic journal.

Each day is a new dawn, and here's hoping that in 2009, each day will be a new fine dawn.

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-THREE

Taro has a week off as of today!!! Yay!

Joshua had his final swimming class for the term and starts again in September.
My strange but nice neighbour gave me 2x tomato plants today, so along with the ones I've been growing from seeds, hopefully I should have lots of tomatoes sometime this year! :-)

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND TEN

My day was a bit of a blur. I'm still not fully recovered from my cold and had a headache this afternoon. Taro very kindly went to the shops as we had no food at home, and took Joshua with him.
When they got back home I decided to get some fresh air and played a bit with Joshua in the back garden whilst Taro cooked dinner for all of us.

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHT

My poor husband arrived home from work with a headache and ready for bed but still managed to give me a gorgeous smile.

DAY SIXTY-THREE

It is Taro's birthday today!!!
I bought him a couple of books that he had asked for. As a surprise I prepared him a lovely 3 course dinner, and picked him up from work. I hope he enjoyed it, even though he had to work.

DAY SIXTY-TWO

Today is Mother's Day in the UK, so Happy Mother's day to all mothers in the UK!
Taro's parents went home today, so before they did, we sang Happy Birthday to Taro for tomorrow and sliced his Snoopy cake.

DAY FIFTY-THREE

Today was Taro's last day at his old job. He has been there for about 7years, in fact, he joined them 3weeks after we met. It's always sad to leave, especially when he has so many friends there, but change is good too. He starts his new job on Monday and I hope he enjoys it.

DAY FORTY-FIVE

Taro worked from home today which was lovely and Joshua really loves it when we are both together.
This is Joshua playing out in the back and checking in on his Mummy to see what I was up to - enjoying a coffee and de-stressing.

On a not so happy note, I took the car out this morning again and found out that I can't park the car in a car park. I managed to park it on a BMW! Oooops... Nothing too bad and the BMW seemed fine, but it certainly was enough to make me panic.

DAY THIRTY-SIX

This is what occasionally awaits us after Joshua has gone to bed. It was already bad when he was on his own, but then Sophie came over and things got a lot worse. I try to hopefully encourage him to put his toys away by putting them all away with him before he goes to bed, but today there was just no energy left in me to tidy it, so Taro has cleared most of it now.

DAY TWELVE

Joshua just seems so grown up now. This week we've gone out on foot a lot and left his pram at home. He's done so well and is finally accepting that he has to hold our hands.
This morning we went for a walk in the park in the bitter cold weather. On the way home though, he was sick all over his coat and woke up from his nap with a fever of 39.4C.
