Welcome to my 365 project

Inspired by a group of people, I have decided to create my own 365 blog. In this blog, I shall attempt to post a photo a day which will hopefully give a little insight into what I've been up to. While I hope to be able to share this with all of you, this is also a photographic journal.

Each day is a new dawn, and here's hoping that in 2009, each day will be a new fine dawn.

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY-NINE

I finished reading A Thousand Splendid Suns last night, so will now start reading The Angel's Game. It's by the same author of The Shadow of the Wind, which was really good, so am hoping this will be a good book too. It's just come out (a week ago), so I haven't heard anything about it yet.
As Joshua had refused his milk the last couple of days, I gave it to him after dinner, which he was very happy about. At bedtime we read a story whilst cuddled together.

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY-ONE

Joshua loves his book of animals that he got from his Grandfather for Xmas.
He spotted a turtle, which is one of the words he knows and pointed at it with Daddy.

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY

We had a bit of a lazy day today and I finished reading The Host by Stephanie Meyer.
I really got absorbed by it after a difficult first 80pages and read it quickly. It's meant to be a grown up book rather than another teenage book, but she failed to do that.

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND SIX

I managed to soak the kitchen floor today whilst manually emptying it, so I could unblock the drain. It's time to clean the washing machine again.
That would have been the highlight of my day if Taro hadn't arrived home with Breaking Dawn, the last book of the Twilight saga. That's my evening sorted :-) Taro will be watching football.

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND THREE

We had a lovely day today. The Sun was shinning, so we went for a nice walk at the park with Taro's parents and Barry.
In the evening I decided to make Joshua his first bubble bath. He was quite tired and not sure he wanted a bath, but was so excited when he saw the bubbles that he almost jumped in, so it was great timing. At night I finished the last few chapters of Eclipse, so now we need to buy the 4th book.

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND ONE

Taro stayed home from work today as he was ill. He has a day off tomorrow and Monday is a Bank Holiday, so we have him at home for 5days which is great!
Last night I read a couple of chapters of the third Twilight books - Eclipse. As I spent the day cleaning and Taro's parents arrive tomorrow for the weekend, it seems that I will take longer to read this one, but that's ok as I don't have the last one anyway.

DAY NINETY-NINE

We are all ill! :-(
Joshua got a snotty nose on Sunday and had a fever at the end of the day. I started to feel a little ill yesterday and today feel worse, and it seems like Taro might be getting it too. As Joshua and I were ill, I let him watch TV and I read and finished Twilight. I have now started reading New Moon, the second book in the series.

DAY NINETY-EIGHT

I have finally given in to peer pressure and have decided to read Twilight. I quite liked the movie, so thought I'd give the books a go.
I got stung by what I thought was a bee today, but after searching and not finding a stinger, I now think it could have been a wasp.

DAY SIXTY-THREE

It is Taro's birthday today!!!
I bought him a couple of books that he had asked for. As a surprise I prepared him a lovely 3 course dinner, and picked him up from work. I hope he enjoyed it, even though he had to work.

DAY EIGHTEEN

It rained all day and we had a quiet day indoors. Joshua always gets very tired at the end of the day but really wakes up in the bath, especially today as Daddy was home early.
