Today we went to have lunch at the cafe where my brother works. He's the chef, so we thought we'd check out the food. It was really tasty and the dishes were huge!

DAY SIXTY-SEVEN

I have been thinking about no longer breastfeeding Joshua and today finally cut down on his morning BF. He will normally come into bed with me first thing and I get an extra 20mins sleep. Not anymore. This morning I gave Joshua some cow's milk in his cup instead. At first he seemed confused and not sure if he wanted his cup, but as soon as he took it and had some, he was happy and had most of it. Hopefully if this goes well, I can cut down on the bedtime BF and that's it. My boy is no longer a baby.

DAY SIXTY-SIX

Our local Children's centre runs a toy library every Tuesday morning. The toys are free and are leased for 2 weeks at a time. Today we got a 'tunnel' which I ordered last week when the weather was nice. As is typical, the weather has now changed and Joshua has to play indoors. This thing is huge and is the length of the living room!

DAY SIXTY-FIVE

What a strange day. Sunshine and rain/ dark rain clouds and blue skies and a double rainbow :-) I was taking a photo of the dark clouds in the midst of a blue sky when I spotted a rainbow. When lightening the photo a touch I noticed a second rainbow. Unfortunately I can also see that the lens is in urgent need of a clean...

DAY SIXTY-FOUR

I took Joshua and John swimming today and have finally signed Joshua up for swimming classes. I'm really looking forward to them now.

DAY SIXTY-THREE

It is Taro's birthday today!!! I bought him a couple of books that he had asked for. As a surprise I prepared him a lovely 3 course dinner, and picked him up from work. I hope he enjoyed it, even though he had to work.

DAY SIXTY-TWO

Today is Mother's Day in the UK, so Happy Mother's day to all mothers in the UK! Taro's parents went home today, so before they did, we sang Happy Birthday to Taro for tomorrow and sliced his Snoopy cake.
