Welcome to my 365 project

Inspired by a group of people, I have decided to create my own 365 blog. In this blog, I shall attempt to post a photo a day which will hopefully give a little insight into what I've been up to. While I hope to be able to share this with all of you, this is also a photographic journal.

Each day is a new dawn, and here's hoping that in 2009, each day will be a new fine dawn.

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-FOUR

As Taro has the week off, we thought we should do something fun. Today we went to Windsor. We didn't enter the castle as we didn't want to pay the entrance fee (£15 per person!), so instead we walked around and explored the city. It's a charming town with some yummy milkshakes and runs along the river.
We also crossed the river into Eton and had a look at the renowned Eton College.

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY-TWO

We were up very early today so we decided to drive to Twickenham. The initial idea was to take Joshua to the playground and walk a bit along the river seeing some ducks along the way, and then back home in time for a morning nap.

Somehow we ended up taking the ferry across the river and explored the other side of the bank. It certainly is a very posh area with a Polo Club and a Riffle and Pistol Club!
We had a lovely time, watched canoes and sail boats and lots of exciting things happening all around us.
After having lunch out, we went home and joined Becky in her huge inflatable pool.

DAY FIFTY-EIGHT

Joshua and I spent the afternoon walking and playing along the river in Richmond. It was a beautiful day and there were lots of people out and about.

DAY THIRTY-SEVEN

We took Joshua to his favourite playground. There are always lots of toddlers there and he seems to really enjoy it even though most of the toys are a little too old for him. The playground faces the river, which I just love to sit and stare at. It's a shame the council are trying to develop the area by adding buildings. So far the residents have managed to stop that and I just hope the area remains as nice and child friendly as it is now.

DAY TWENTY-EIGHT

Joshua and I went out for a lovely walk to a nearby park. It's very peaceful around there with a river running through it and lots of dogs splashing around in it.
